Gene Colan's stunning work on the Black Panther began with two Panther guest appearances in the pages of Daredevil and culminated in Don McGregor's epic "Panther's Quest" storyline which ran in Marvel Comics Presents. Prior to his Black Panther work, Colan's pencils on such Marvel mainstays as Daredevil and Iron Man earned him a great deal of recognition. It was his work on Tomb of Dracula, however, that most fans remember him by.
