Joe Jusko Gallery

Joe Jusko is well known for his paintings of comic book characters. He's done numerous card sets, posters and other feature pieces for many comic book companies. When Mark Texeira left Black Panther, Vol. 2, Jusko was one of two artists who filled in for him (the other was Vince Evans).

Jusko did an excellent job of maintaining the moody feel that Texeira established for the book. Jusko's dark, smoldering tones convey the feeling that evil lurks around every corner. As T'Challa digs deeper into the mystery of a conspiracy to overthrow his government in Wakanda, the darkness grows. Jusko's photorealistic paintings of the Avengers give the reader an idea what Earth's Mightiest Heroes would look like if they existed in our world.

Joe Jusko's artwork was featured in the following Black Panther stories:
Black Panther, Vol. 2 #6-8.
